Subject: Appointment of Nodal Officer in Chief Commissioner’s Office for facilitating Customs clearance at the Zonal level amidst theCovid-19 crisis

 

Dear Member,

We would like to inform you that JNCH (Nhava Sheva) has issued Public Notice No.39/2020 dated 1st April, 2020 informing about the appointment of Nodal Officer in Chief Commissioner’s Office for facilitating Customs clearance at the Zonal level amidst the Covid-19 crisis;

While the Covid-19 crisis has affected the movement of people, goods and thereby economy at large, the Customs are involved in maintenance of supply chain of goods during these times and receiving enquiries from trade on how to go about procedural aspect of clearance of goods in this situation;

To assist in early addressing concerns of the trade, JNCH Customs has appointed the following Nodal Officer:
